[it isn't often that people get to see this side of sizhui. if they do, it's because they know him already or he's comfortable around them enough to let it show and to let himself be a little more open about his mischief. for hua cheng, it's the latter because they are still getting to know one another, but the ghost king has made him feel safe in more ways than one and he doesn't feel at all exposed or uncomfortable around him like he might with someone else that he doesn't know as well. (or, sometimes, even around those he does know.)
