[his fingers continue dragging, all the way up to the spot just below zhuque's nape where they hesitate, tapping an irregular beat. there's no real way to smell like snow (that he knows of), but there could be some way for the latter scent. it's not nearly as magnificent as zhuque's wings, which never cease to amaze him every single time they make an appearance, though it is still something.

that sudden warmth and those appendages materializing leave him stunned for a moment, wide-eyed, open-mouthed and clenching the arm he has around zhuque's shoulders, fingernails grazing whenever his hand curls. he finally exhales a breath he'd been holding then draws himself closer, his gemstone gleaming while he nudges their foreheads together. tiny vines begin winding through parts of his hair, little white flowers bursting forth shortly afterward, dotting over the sides of his head above his ears and along the back in a crown-shaped pattern; they're similar to plum blossoms but smell more reminiscent of jasmine flowers: sweet and floral top notes, yet with a subtle woody musk underneath.]
