That's understandable, being unfamiliar with it and not knowing what the appropriate reaction might be.

It makes sense to be nervous about an ability like that too. If it's okay, may I ask what sort of specific powers they are? [if not, then he'll accept a vague explanation, make what he can of it and keep from prying into miu's life too much.

[sorry, miu, he's gonna get real nerdy here.] When given the proper amount of water, sunlight and other such nutrients, cacti can sprout some of the most beautiful flowers... It just takes extra time, care and someone patient enough to look past their prickliness.

When I touch people, I can read their minds and their feelings. And sometimes I can witness their worst, most traumatic memories. It's like it's happening to me--I feel everything they felt, see everything they saw. They'll re-live it too.

Most people don't like to be seen. Everyone has things about them they want hidden away, so when it's exposed they lash out.

So maybe this is one cactus you should give up cultivating.

It's not something I can turn off. When I'd warn people in the past, they'd think I was lying. If I proved it, they'd get violent or at least just upset. It's easier to just avoid people entirely.
