[sizhui trails off, considering, taking another piece of food off his skewer and eating while he thinks. sure, he's been told this many times before; it's not all that surprising, given the circumstances and how he normally handles things by taking them in stride, yet there have been moments where he's wondered if he is too naïve.
lucky for him, he has more than enough wisdom and worldliness to make up for what he lacks in other experiences, and what he doesn't have there, he makes up for in skills he uses to protect himself.]
It's true, there's something to be said about living life with a pessimistic point of view... but I must admit, I do try and see the best in people, no matter what they've done during their lifetime. [there are exceptions, of course, but even then, sizhui still hopes people can change for the better.]
