[He chuckles to himself at teh text and makes his way up the path to their home. Zhu Que lets himself in, reflecting how easily they had fallen into this routine. He looks around before spotting his love and making his way over with the pink box, balancing two drinks as well. As expected - one bright and one milky pink so that Sizhui could choose one.]

[after having gotten dressed in his favorite clouds sweater and some white skinny-styled pants, sizhui bounds down the steps from their bedroom, rushing through the compound in hopes to meet zhuque as he arrives home. he's a little late in doing so, but that doesn't stop him, a wide, enthusiastic smile coming across his face while he rushes up to his boyfriend and tosses both arms around him in an embrace, careful to avoid upsetting the food he's holding.

he holds tight, tilts his head and upturns his gaze, large fluffy wolf tail twitching behind him.] You brought both of them?

[The tail is new. But it's adorable and Zhu Que wants to reach out and pet it. He carefully leans to press a quick kiss against his soft lips]

Of course I bought both. I wasn't quite sure which one you would want more today.

[He sets the drinks down before putting an arm around Sizhui's waist to haul him up]

Fox today?

[patience goes a long way here; the tail isn't leaving anytime soon and zhuque's more than welcome to pet it as much as he likes once his hands are freed. for now, sizhui accepts the kiss, gently pecking his boyfriend's mouth in kind before slanting a sideways glance toward those drinks. he's spoiled, clearly, zhuque didn't have to buy both and let him choose, he could've just accepted whatever was brought!]

You're too good, my love. [a little later, he'll choose which one he wants, as he's immediately distracted by being lifted off his feet after the other man has set aside their beverages.

sizhui encircles zhuque's shoulders, fingers lacing together across his nape while he also secures his legs around zhuque's midsection.] Wolf, [sizhui amends, even though he could very well have been mistaken for a fox, given how fluffy the tail is.] You are the fox. [then follows that, a teasing lilt to his voice as he loosens one hand, draws it around between them and gently taps zhuque's nose.] And a rather handsome one at that.

[He's very spoiled but Zhuque doesn't mind as long as he is happy]

Ah a wolf. Should I be scared?

[He's teasing but he leans Sizhui against the countertop anyway, to loom over him for a moment]

And I thank you, danna, for the compliment.

[exactly why he'd said what he did, but zhuque needn't ever worry about sizhui's happiness whenever he's around; it's clear he is always delighted in the company of his lover.]

I don't know. Hmmm, [a beat then,] do I look frightening to you?

[he tilts his head questioningly, grinning wider, which clearly reveals how much sharper his canine teeth are. one arm lowers to stabilize himself as he's leaned on the counter, the other dragging along zhuque's throat, long fingernails ghosting over to the curve where his neck meets his shoulder.] You're welcome and you deserve it, chong'er.

[The skin beneath his long nails raises up in gooseflesh and Zhuque doesn't stop the shiver that goes through him]

What does that one mean?

[He sets everything else down around Sizhui and leans to nuzzle his face against the pale column of his neck]

[those tiny bumps underneath his claws have him chuckling softly, his first and second digits angling just right so he can drift the fingertips over zhuque's throat again, lingering right beneath pulsepoint.]

Darrrling, [comes long-drawn-out and emphasized by a quiet huff at the end, then sizhui tilts, nudges gently against zhuque, drops a kiss against his cheek and reaches with his other hand to tousle zhuque's hair.] Ah, ah, are you going to have me on the counter again? [not that he minds, per se, he'd just hate to ruin the food they could enjoy afterward.]

[He places gentle kisses along his neck]

Would you prefer against the wall again or on the floor?

[He's teasing. Mostly. Maybe not.]

[sizhui hums contently, tips his head somewhat so zhuque can have better access to his neck, another faint smirk quirking his lips at the edges, even though his remark is tinged with a feigned sulky tone.] The wall and tiled flooring here would be cold, I think...

But rugburn might not be so bad. [is he joking, however? who knows! it's fun to reciprocate playful provocation though.]

I can certainly keep you warm against the tiles and walls.

[It's a promise as he continues to kiss along his neck, nuzzling under the neckline of the sweater for a moment]

I don't doubt that whatsoever. You're always keeping me warm, my love.

[he huffs another sigh, drifts his fingers through zhuque's hair again then squirms once the other man moves underneath his sweatshirt, cheeks faintly flushed] Yes... but if you keep doing that, it won't be for food.

[That's all the more reason to keep doing that. He presses more warming kisses against his skin and brushes his nose along the slope of his shoulder.]

[he's so rude, although there isn't much complaining on lan sizhui's end. instead, he shifts, flattens his wolf ears against the top of his head and leans to kiss zhuque's earlobe.] Are you not? [another kiss, against the shell this time, then his head props against zhuque's.]

Don't tell me I'm expected to eat everything myself.

[He's the worst. He's becoming more and more human by the day, despite the tail that swishes behind him. The kiss to his ear has him shivering a little as his skin raises in gooseflesh]

Oh I'd like to devour something sweet. You've inspired such a craving in me ever since we've met.

[maybe not the worst, but he has definitely learned the ways of humanized living, especially when it comes to how he can get a rise out of sizhui with so little effort. there's a soft, amused giggle and he shakes his head, careful to avoid knocking them together.]

You're incorrigible, insatiable— [a moment's hesitation, his head dipping and the points of his teeth scraping zhuque's neck.] But perhaps I'm the fiend for encouraging you.

Mmm, truly a youkai to contend with.

[he pulls back from where he was kissing his lover then bends to give the other side his attention as his hands caress at Sizhui's side, staying over the sweater]

A youkai, huh? [even funnier, once he realizes, is that he's a canine monster of all things.

sizhui's half-lidded gaze upturns when zhuque withdraws, eyebrows lifting curiously, his head tipping sideways after zhuque moves to the opposite part of his neck. the hand he's using to caress zhuque's hair lowers, finds his partner's hand on that side and interlocks their fingers in an attempt at redirecting his attention to something that's not zhuque feeling him up.] As much as I don't want you to stop, I think we should... for now.

[because though he's intent on letting them get out of hand eventually, he doesn't want zhuque distracted from his earlier questions by his wily, wolfish demeanor.]

[He pins their laced hands on the countertop and continues kissing him softly across the sensitive skin]

Should we?

[his gasp comes sharply once their hands are pinned, followed shortly after by a breathy, somewhat shaking sigh and:] Y-Yes, we should. [sizhui squeezes his fingers around zhuque's for emphasis then inquires,]
